Sarah is the Visual Effects Producer for Whodoo Efx., recently finishing production on over 200 effects for Mike Nichol’s feature film “Charlie Wilson’s War.” Sarah’s other feature projects with Whodoo Efx include “Anamorph” starring Willem Dafoe, and “Failure to Launch” starring Matthew McConaughey.

Shortly after graduating from The Savannah College of Art and Design, Sarah started a Multimedia 3D Visualization Company called Digital Hardhat, serving as owner and Creative Director. As creative director Sarah applied her client’s construction ideas into 3D visualizations and VO presentations with video interviews for events and marketing. Projects included: 3D visualization for the Georgia World Congress Center, A 3D presentation for a new Sports Stadium in Gwinnett, GA, as well as many malls, home developments and churches in the southeast.

In 2001, Digital Hardhat merged with RCMS Group and Sarah stayed on as Creative Director running the outsource division with RCMS International in Hyderabad, India (RCMS India).  Here, she was responsible for all interactions with the clients and creative team. Sarah developed all processes for delivery and communication of the 3D Visualization division concerning outsourcing creative work to the team in India.

During this time, Sarah also worked on Independent films such as “Freez’er”, “Ghost of the Needle”, and “Dark Remains” serving as Visual Effects Supervisor, Artist and Executive Producer.

Today, Sarah continues her work at Whodoo Efx as the primary liaison between the VFX crew and the Owner/VFX Supervisor, Helena Packer-Burnson. She is chiefly responsible for delivering the project on time and within budget, negotiation of crew rates, and the day-to-day management of Whodoo Efx including IT.
